Owner Claimed Animal Pick-up Procedures
Once animal is in ATMC custody owner must come to facility and identify animal. Pets can not be Identified over phone. Once an animal is positively identified a travel sheet is given to owner. Giving them directions on there next steps to claiming animal. Give owner quote of price for the ATMC charges, this includes Boarding charges any vaccination charges and the cost to microchip if not already. A Microchip is required to leave.
Charges are as Followed:
- Boarding-- charges apply
- Rabies vaccination-- 1 yr $24.99
- County Tags-- $10 spay/neutered $30 unaltered
- Microchips-- $56.50 includes registration.
If no proof of rabies is available ATMC will provide one before the owner goes to city hall at charges listed above.
Owner must then go to the city hall of the municipality the animal was picked up in to pay fine
Owner then brings back receipt from city hall. Make copy of receipt and drivers license.
ATMC payment is due at this time. (Wentzville = Cash only) (Ofallon = Cash preferred will accept credit or debit) Check are not excepted at payment for owner claims.
After all transactions are paid only then will animal receive Vaccination and/or microchip. Allowing the animal to be released at that time.
